How should I wash it?
Machine wash at 30°C, skip bleach and softener, and hang it to dry. Rinse it first if it is very sandy.

Not really. It is 70 cm wide, so it suits one person on a lounger. A couple will want two, and a second in the same print makes a tidy pair.
Does sand stick to it?
Less than to cotton terry, and a shake gets most of it off, which seems fair on a towel with sand printed on it.
