Turquoise and white nautical stripe with a navy rope anchor — 70 x 150 cm, 220 GSM
This anchor beach towel is 70 x 150 cm, 220 GSM microfibre, in turquoise and white nautical stripes with a navy rope anchor. It dries faster than cotton and is 10 cm longer than a 70 x 140 cm towel.
A cotton towel on a boat never dries. If you sail, paddleboard or swim off a pontoon you know the problem: no tumble dryer, only a guardrail, and a towel that is still wet at the end of the weekend.
Microfibre dries faster than terry, which is why it earns a place in a sailing bag. This one is 70 x 150 cm at 220 GSM and folds small. If you have been searching for a 70 x 140 beach towel, this is 10 cm longer.
The design is bold. Wide turquoise and white stripes run the length of the towel, with a navy anchor wrapped in rope across the middle. It is the print people mean when they search for an anchor beach towel or a nautical beach towel, and it makes a good sailing towel for lake days, club races and pontoon swims. Pair it with the cabana stripe towel for a coastal set, or see the full beach towels range.
It goes in the wash at 30°C. Leave out the bleach and softener, hang it to dry, and it will not need ironing.

FAQs
Is the anchor on a plain background?
No. It sits on wide turquoise and white stripes.
Does it dry well on a boat?
Better than cotton. Microfibre dries faster than terry, so a towel hung on a guardrail is usually ready to reuse much sooner.
What size is it?
70 x 150 cm, which is 10 cm longer than a 70 x 140 cm beach towel.
How should I wash it?
At 30°C with no bleach or fabric softener, then hang it up. It dries quickly, even on a damp day.
Is it big enough to lie on?
t is big enough to sit on or wrap round you, and a child or shorter adult can lie on it. At 150 cm long, a taller adult lying flat will have their feet or head over the end. It is 70 cm wide, so it suits one person, not a partner.
Can a sailing club order several?
Yes. Packs of 10 and boxes of 48 and 240 are on the page, there is no minimum order, and 01204 455755 covers bigger quantities.
