You need to look at the type of filling used in the duvet to determine its quality. You have the classic hollowfibre, to the microfibre to the feather and down. Don't worry, we'll explain everything for you so you understand the difference in filling to choose the perfect duvet for you.  Different types of fillings in your duvet Our hollowfibre and microfibre duvets fall into the synthetic category often used by people who suffer from allergies and asthma. The silky soft duvet is the closest synthetic alternative to a natural down duvet giving you extra warmth and ensuring a featherweight feel.
