Hotels and care homes get asked what their bedding is filled with. This pillow is 90% shredded white feather and 10% down, and it is approved to BS 5335, the British standard for how the composition of feather and down is labelled. That means the composition is written down. For a pillow with more down in it, see the 85/15 goose feather and down pillow.
Cambric is a fine, close-woven cotton, which is why it is used to hold feather in. The cover is 100% cotton with gold piping around the edge, and the pillow is white only. If you want a double-stitched cover with a piped edge and a higher thread count, there is the Hungarian goose pillow.
OekoTex Standard 100 means tested and confirmed free from harmful substances. It does not cover every batch of this pillow, so ask us which batch you will receive if you need the certificate. Expect a slight natural odour on unpacking and air it for up to 24 hours. Launder at 40°C. Retail bags are on the retail packaging page.

BS 5335 is the British standard for how the composition of feather and down filling is labelled. It is why the 90% feather and 10% down on this pillow is a described composition. It does not make the pillow fire retardant, and it is not a measure of how firm or soft the pillow feels.
100% cotton cambric, with gold piping.
