The quality of this item is very good. The colour and construction were, too. However, the length of the frill was not as stated in the advertisement: the double size was much too long and the single size too short. Such a shame as they would have been fine if the right length.

What's a Base Valance?
Base valance sheet goes under the mattress and hangs down to cover the base of the bed to give it an elegant look. The drop of the base valance to the floor is between 12 and 14 inches.
