An Oxford pillowcase has a flat border stitched around the edge. A housewife style has no border and closes with an overlapping flap at the open end. Both are in the buy box, so choose the style before you add a pack to the basket.
The blend is 80% cotton and 20% polyester, with a woven satin stripe in white. Some customers say they wash well, and one reports no bobbling. Put a quilted pillow protector under the case if you want to wash the layer that touches the pillow. More plain cases are in the pillowcase range.

Wash whites and coloureds separately. If washing above 60 degrees centigrade a cool-down process is vital to minimise thermal creasing. All textile goods, particularly cotton and cotton-rich products, are liable to some shrinkage on washing. They wash really well at lower temperatures and will last you a long time.

Is the stripe printed or woven?
It is a woven satin stripe, which shows as a sheen in the white cloth.
Which pack sizes are there?
Pack of 2, then packs of 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 pairs. There is no minimum order, so you can start with the pack of 2 to check the finish.
What is the difference between Oxford and housewife?

What if a pair arrives without the stripe?
Email us a photo and we will look at it. Two customers who reviewed these had a pair that was plain white or below standard, and both say we sent a replacement, one within two days. Returns run for 365 days, so you are covered if a pair is not what you ordered.
How should I wash them?
