These are 100% cotton pool towels, 450 GSM and 70 x 150 cm, in navy, light blue or pink cabana stripe. They are chlorine resistant, not chlorine proof, so rinsing after swimming extends their life.
The towel everyone grabs on the way to the pool is your best bathroom towel. Chlorine is hard on ordinary cotton — repeated exposure breaks down fibres faster than regular washing alone, which is why a towel that felt fine on day one can go thin and rough by the end of a season of pool visits. These are 100% cotton, 450 GSM and 70 x 150 cm, in a cabana stripe of navy, light blue or pink on white. 450 GSM is the UK leisure standard weight. Nothing cotton survives years of pool water unchanged, so rinse the towel after a swim and keep fabric softener out of the wash.

Are they chlorine proof?
No. They are 100% cotton at 450 GSM and sold for repeated pool use, but chlorine weakens cotton fibres and lightens dye over time. Rinse after swimming, skip bleach and softener, and wash at 40°C.
Will the stripes fade?
Eventually, yes. All dyed cotton lightens in chlorinated water. Rinsing after use and washing with similar colours slows it down, but we cannot promise identical stripes after years of daily swimming.
Is 450 GSM thick enough for swimming?
Yes. 450 GSM sits in the 400–500 GSM range that suits most pool and beach use: absorbent enough to dry you properly, light enough to dry reasonably quickly.

How does it compare with a bath sheet?
A bath sheet is often 90 cm wide or more, so this is a similar length but narrower. It dries an adult properly after a swim, though you cannot wrap up in it fully.
