Care Instructions

• Wash at 40°C or cooler with similar colours

• Skip the fabric softener, it coats the cotton loops and cuts absorbency

• No bleach — more visible on black, and it weakens fibres regardless of colour

• Tumble dry on low heat, or air dry

• Don't over-dry — it makes the towelling feel stiff

Does black really hold up better than white under commercial washing? 

Generally yes. Pale cotton shows greying and staining sooner under frequent hot washing, which is why darker shades are a common practical pick for hospitality.

How generous is the one-size fit? 

Closer to an XL. Chest width is 60cm laid flat, sleeve 60cm, cuff 19cm, full length 120cm. The 180cm belt lets you adjust the fit.

Will the black fade with repeated washing? 

Skip the softener and bleach, wash with similar colours, and it holds its depth. Some gradual softening is normal on any dark cotton over years of use.

This is 400GSM, no hood. Egyptian Collection is a heavier 470GSM with a hood, in charcoal rather than true black.
