One customer said the hardest part of fitting a valance was taking the old one off, because it meant moving a king mattress on their own. A valance sheet is placed over the mattress just like a fitted sheet, then drops to the floor. A base valance goes under the mattress instead, and ours is the 68 pick polycotton frilled base valance. Pick the one you are happy to fit.
The sheet covers a mattress depth of 23cm (9 inches), and the frill takes it to 36cm (14 inches) from the top of the mattress to the floor. Measure your mattress depth and your base height first. One customer said the sizes were accurate and fit well, and another said it fitted their king bed perfectly.
Half cotton and half polyester, at 144 thread count. One customer said it washes well and is comfy to sleep on, and one said it creased badly after washing but still gave four stars for value. Match it with the 68 pick polycotton duvet covers and 68 pick polycotton pillowcases.

The size table gives a mattress depth of 23cm (9 inches) and a depth to the floor of 36cm (14 inches). Measure your mattress and your base before you order.
What is the difference between a valance sheet and a base valance?
A valance sheet goes over the mattress like a fitted sheet, then drops to the floor with a frill. A base valance goes under the mattress, so you lift the mattress to fit it. The frilled base valance is a separate listing in the same fabric, so choose by how you want to fit it.
Does it crease in the wash?
One customer said it creased badly after washing, and still gave four stars for good value. It is 50% cotton and 50% polyester at 144 thread count and is not listed as easy iron, so plan to press it.
