I have bought and reviewed these towels before. I realised they are also the perfect size to fit on a baby's changing mat, and a useful addition to a layette so I bought some for my daughter to use. Brilliant!
What is the difference between the Review and Comments ?
We find this size towel best in our guest toilet but they are impossible to find in most homeware stores. Perfect size, soft touch and quick drying - exactly what we were looking for.
Just as I ordered. Thanks.
First class service very quick , and towels really good especially the price. We will definitely use this firm again.
I had been looking for towels this size for some time, found them on this site. Towels are good quality and for less than £1 each they are a bargain.
Good quality, very competitive price.

White towels earn their place in hospitality linen not because they look good on arrival — they all look good on arrival — but because of what happens after fifty commercial washes. The ones that go grey or develop a patchy, uneven look are almost always built on open-end yarn that starts to thin and shed dye inconsistently. The ones that stay white are ring-spun.
Ring-spun cotton removes short, weak fibres during production, then spins the remaining long fibres into a tighter, smoother yarn. That means less shedding, less pilling, more consistent colour retention, and a pile that holds its weight through the washing cycles that commercial environments demand.
At 500 GSM, the weight is right for a guest towel that feels genuinely substantial — not the paper-thin alternative that guests fold politely and don't use. The 30 x 50 cm format suits washrooms, treatment rooms, cloakrooms, and any setting where a full hand towel would be disproportionately large.
OekoTex Standard 100 tested — confirmed free from harmful substances.

Why do white towels go grey after washing?
Usually a combination of two things: open-end yarn that sheds and thins unevenly, and washing at the wrong temperature with detergent that leaves residue. Ring-spun cotton holds its structure better through repeated cycles. Washing at 40°C or 60°C with a non-optical detergent and avoiding fabric softeners keeps white towels cleaner for longer.
Can white guest towels be washed at 60°C?
These are labelled for 40°C machine wash. If your operation requires 60°C cycles for hygiene protocols, check with our trade team — some institutional specifications are available with higher temperature ratings.
Are these suitable for care home or clinical use?
Yes. The ring-spun cotton construction and 500 GSM weight suit environments with high-frequency laundering. White is the standard colour choice for clinical and care settings because it launders at higher temperatures and indicates wear clearly.
