This mattress protector is amazing. It fits my mattress so well as I always have the problem of old mattress protectors flipping off on the side so you’re always having to put it back on in the morning with Louise. A bed that raises and lowers puts more strain on a protector than a flat one. One customer said this fits great on a mobility bed that goes up and down. The pocket takes mattresses up to 16 inches. A matching extra deep fitted sheet up to 16 inches goes over the top.
If you use a topper, measure from the base of the mattress to the top of the topper and check the total is within the 16 inch pocket. How deep a mattress does it fit?
Mattresses from 12 to 16 inches. The pocket is 16 inches (41cm) deep, so a 12 inch mattress sits at the shallow end of the range. If you use a topper, add its height to the mattress depth and keep the total within 16 inches.
Is there a size for a 4ft bed?
Yes. 4ft Bed is in the size list at 120 x 188cm, alongside Single, Double, King and Super King.
How waterproof is it, and what makes it waterproof?
Listed as waterproof, with no test rating and no named waterproof layer. If your setting needs a stated rating, ask before you order a pack, or look at the terry towelling waterproof protector.
Will it stay put on an adjustable or mobility bed?
Elastic runs through all four corners. One customer said it stays on the mattress instead of flipping off at the side, after a protector that kept coming off.
