750 GSM Samrot Chequered Embroidered Bath Sheets — Set of 2
A 750 GSM towel is heavier than most people have at home, and noticeably so the first time you handle one. The pile is dense enough that the towel holds its shape when folded. The difference between 750 GSM and a standard 600 GSM isn't just weight — it's the amount of cotton yarn packed into each square metre, which translates directly into pile depth, absorbency, and wash durability.
The Samrot chequered design adds a second layer of construction quality to the base towel. The chequered texture is woven into the fabric rather than printed, so it doesn't fade or peel. The embroidery is applied at a stitch density that suits the 750 GSM base — at this weight, the pile is deep enough to hold intricate stitch patterns without puckering, which is why our embroidered range uses 600–750 GSM cotton rather than lighter bases.
The Samrot collection comes in three colourways, all designed for colour retention through repeated washing. These are a genuinely long-term linen purchase — the kind of bath sheet you replace because you want something different, not because it has worn out.
Each set contains two bath sheets at 75 x 140 cm. Machine washable at 40°C. No minimum order.

FAQs
What makes 750 GSM different from 700 GSM?
The difference is in pile density — 750 GSM packs more cotton yarn per square metre than 700 GSM, which gives a slightly heavier feel and marginally deeper pile. Both weights sit in the ultra-plush category. The Royal Egyptian 700 GSM uses double yarn construction, so the comparison depends on construction type as much as weight number.
Will the chequered pattern fade after washing?
No. The chequered texture is woven into the fabric — it is part of the construction, not a surface print. Woven textures don't fade or peel with normal washing. The embroidery will retain its appearance provided the towels are washed at 40°C with a mild detergent and not subjected to bleach.
Are these suitable for hotels and hospitality use?
Yes. The 750 GSM cotton pile construction is built for durability as much as weight. Hotels and hospitality buyers ordering from us return because the towels hold their softness, colour, and structure through the washing cycles their laundry departments run. We supply both retail and trade quantities with no minimum order.
How do I care for these towels?
Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours. Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners — bleach damages cotton fibres over time, and fabric softeners coat the pile and reduce absorbency. Tumble dry on low or air dry. Shake out after washing to restore loft.
Can I buy in bulk?
Yes. No minimum order applies. For case or pallet quantities, contact us on 01204 455755.
