Drop the hood from a robe and some sites quietly drop the weight too, as if the hood was doing half the work. It wasn't. This is the shawl collar version of our Egyptian Collection , same 470GSM cotton terry towelling as the hooded version, same weight in your hands. Just the traditional wrap-front cut instead.

More cotton per square metre is what actually separates it from a standard dressing gown — it holds its shape and doesn't go limp after a few washes, and that has nothing to do with the collar style itself. Three adult sizes (S/M, M/L, L/XL) so you're choosing a fit, not settling for whatever's left.
