I actually didn't know theres a difference between a bath robe & a dressing gown at the time. I bought this to wear around the house, but it's meant to be used like a towel after the shower or bath as it's absorbent. If you want a lightweight fleece type dressing gown , this isn't that. Nonetheless the quality is great & its warm & still comfortable & not too heavy. I love the hood also & am happy with the product!

Cant believe what great value this dressing gown is. It is well made and well finished with a warm chunky feel and deep pockets. The cotton is 100oc Egyptian and as a result the gown is warm and absorbent. I have paid four times this price for a less good gown. Brilliant - thanks!
