Wholesale duvet supplier for hotels, care homes and rentals
A housekeeper who orders one tog for every room finds out in January which rooms run cold and in July which run hot. Match the tog to the room and the duvet to the wash before you match it to the price. 10.5 tog is the all-year weight, 13.5 tog suits rooms that turn cold, 4.5 tog suits warm rooms and summer, and 15 tog is for the coldest ones. Our duvet buying guide explains tog room by room.
We sell direct, so bulk packs come straight from the manufacturer, and hotels and the NHS buy from us.

Flame retardant bedding for care homes and rented rooms
If your fire risk assessment asks what the bedding meets, BS 7175 is the answer to look for: the British Standard for how bedding behaves when it meets an ignition source. Our flame retardant duvets are named to source (crib) 5, and the waterproof range adds a wipe-clean outer.
Why buy wholesale duvets from The Towel Shop

Wholesale duvets FAQs
What duvets do hotels use?
There is no single hotel duvet. The choice depends on the laundry, the tog the rooms need and whether guests expect feather. We make hollowfibre, bounce back, microfibre, easy care, and goose feather and down, and hotels buy from us.
What tog should a hotel duvet be?
10.5 tog is the all-year weight. Use 13.5 tog for rooms that turn cold and 4.5 tog for warm rooms. The duvet buying guide has the room-by-room version.
Is there a minimum order, and do you offer bulk prices?
There is no minimum order. Buy a single duvet or packs of 5, 10, 50 and 100 on selected listings. Ring 01204 455755 for a bulk quote.
Can I machine wash these duvets?
Hollowfibre, bounce back and microfibre duvets are machine washable, and the care label gives the temperature. Feather and down duvets wash at 40°C in a large-capacity machine. Waterproof duvets wipe clean.
Do you sell flame retardant duvets for care homes?
Yes, in 10.5 and 13.5 tog. They are named to BS 7175, source (crib) 5. Our flame retardant duvets page lists them. Ring 01204 455755 if your inspector wants the standard in writing.
Are you a duvet manufacturer?
Yes. We have made home textiles in-house in Bolton, Lancashire since 1999, so we sell direct.
Do you sell wholesale duvet covers or sets?
Duvet covers and bedding packs are in separate categories. See our duvet covers and wholesale bedding packs.
