Wow! Lovely quality in these luxuriously soft and thick, absorbent towels. Opted for the lemon colour and am not disappointed. I will definitely buy again from The Towel Shop!
I’m very pleased with these towels. They are made from good quality towelling and wash well. I think they represent excellent value for money. Shipping was extremely fast and I have recommended this company to friends and other family members. I’m sure I will use this firm again.
Really good product so far!
These are good value for money and a nice product. Note that the colour "charcoal" is a relatively light shade compared to some other products, so don't buy these if you need a dark charcoal, but they were fine for me.
Very good quaility. Please with product.
Very pleased with the towels, I chose a variety of colours and they are lovely and fluffy.
So happy I have chosen to buy this towels! Very soft and good quality! It does absorbs the water! And after washing stays soft
Very good heavy, thick towels. A few loose strands, but I just trimmed them. Would recommend. X

Buy a heavyweight bath towel and a standard hand towel to go with it, and the mismatch shows the moment a guest picks up the smaller piece — it feels thin next to everything else on the rail. Our 700 GSM hand towels use the same double yarn construction as our bath towels and bath sheets, so the weight is consistent across every piece in the set, not just the ones people see from across the room.
At 50 x 85cm, it's sized for hand-drying rather than display, but the density is identical to the larger pieces — two threads twisted together before weaving, the same construction throughout the range.
Consistency across a set matters more than any single towel's spec sheet. A guest who picks up a 700 GSM hand towel after using a 700 GSM bath sheet notices immediately if the weight doesn't match — ours doesn't give that away, because every size in the range comes from the same double yarn weave.
If you're building a set for guest rooms specifically, our guide onchoosing the right guest hand towels covers what guests actually notice in those first thirty seconds.

Does this match the weight of your 700 GSM bath towel?
Yes, exactly — same double yarn construction across every size in the range.
How does it compare to a 600 GSM hand towel?
It's noticeably denser, with more fibre per square metre from the double yarn weave. If you're building a matching heavyweight set, this is the piece that stops the hand towel feeling like an afterthought.
Is 700 GSM too heavy for a hand towel that gets used constantly through the day?
It dries slightly slower between uses than a 500 GSM hand towel, which is worth knowing if it's being picked up dozens of times a day in a busy family bathroom. For a guest bathroom or a spa setting where matching the rest of a heavyweight set matters more, that trade-off comes up far less.
Do you supply matching sets to spas and hotels?
Yes, with no minimum order — call 01204 455755 to quote a full set across hand towels, bath towels and bath sheets.
Is it colourfast?
Yes, though washing separately for the first few cycles is good practice regardless.
