We spent some time in the store just browsing all the different options and felt absolutely at ease to make our decision on which sheets we were after. There were people on hand if we wanted to ask questions but no one pushed us at all. The price was also excellent and the valances were delivered early on the next working day when I got a message to give me a two hour window which the delivery was dropped off within. All round 5* service.
Ordered the parts which arrived within two days, exactly as advertised. Happy customer.
Was very keen on the price and good service. Will definitely recommend

A valance that stops short of the floor leaves the base showing, which is the thing people are trying to hide. The drop here is 12 to 14 inches, which is 36cm in the table. One customer called it just the right drop, another struggled elsewhere to find this frill drop, and a third had trouble buying the correct drop and said we were spot on.
Choose the size of your mattress: Single, Double, King or Super King. One customer bought a King for a 'queen' size bed and said it fitted perfectly well. The valance goes under the mattress and hangs to the floor. If you would rather not lift the mattress, the 68 pick polycotton valance sheets go over it.
This is the frilled polycotton one. For a plain white 100% cotton percale, see the 200TC percale base valance. For an easy iron polycotton in white, see the 180TC easy iron percale base valances.

12 to 14 inches, which is 36cm.

Yes, it is machine washable.
How many can I order?
A single valance, a pack of 5, a bag of 10, or a box of 25 or 50. There is no minimum order.
Which colours can I buy?
Choose from the Colour dropdown above. One customer described theirs as a lovely cream.
Which size should I order for my bed?
Match the size to your mattress: Single, Double, King or Super King. One customer bought a King for a bed they called a 'queen' and said it fitted perfectly well, but queen is not a size we list, so measure the base first.
