I'm very pleased with these towels. They are not overly fluffy. I'm not a towel expert and I do prefer thinner towels so these suite me. I would definitely buy these again. I was very surprised how quickly my order reached me as I didn't specify next day delivery. Based on my experience of this purchase I feel it is reasonable to recommend The Towel Shop.

Delivered quickly lovely colours
We order 24 towels as we have 3 dogs that get exceedingly wet at this time of year. The bath towels were just right as not too thick and not too big. Also great for kids as not too big. They arrived really quickly and well packaged
Good quality at a reasonable price delivered quickly. Excellent.
For the price these towels are great. They are a bit thinner than some but for the price who cares!! This is the second lot i've bought of these towels & i have been very pleased both times. The colours are lovely too. Great value for money.
Ordered the towels in bulk online and was delivered very quickly, would definitely use them again.
Excellent service and communication with customer service. Really reliable and great service
This company's customer service is best I have come across. It may be on line but it's communication is prompt, truthful and totally reliable. I totally recommend this company to every one, it's brilliant.
I found it easy to find what I wanted, website was really responsive. The delivery was reasonably quick and the item arrived when it said and in good condition.
There were a couple of cheaper offers on eBay but the price I paid was well under all the main sellers. Would certainly recomend using Towel Shop

A family bathroom sees more towel washes in a month than most hotel rooms see in a week. Buy the wrong weight and you'll notice it by month three — the pile flattens, the towel takes longer to dry you and even longer to dry itself on the rail. Our 500 GSM bath towels are 100% cotton, carded for a dense weave that holds its thickness through repeated family washing rather than a handful of gentle cycles.
At 70 x 130cm, they're sized for full drying coverage without the bulk of a bath sheet, which matters if your machine and dryer are already working through a household's worth of towels each week.
Absorbency is the whole point of a bath towel, and 500 GSM strikes the balance most households actually need — thick enough to dry you properly in one pass, light enough to dry itself out on the rail before the next person needs it. That balance is what keeps a bath towel performing wash after wash instead of turning damp and heavy after a few months.

FAQs
Will these towels stay thick after repeated washing?
Yes, the 500 GSM carded cotton weave is built to hold its density through regular family wash cycles.
What's the difference between this and your 600 GSM bath towel?
600 GSM is a noticeably heavier towel with a longer drying time. If your household washes towels several times a week, 500 GSM dries faster between washes without feeling thin.
How does a 70 x 130cm bath towel compare to a bath sheet?
A bath towel wraps around an adult with some overlap; a bath sheet, at 90 x 150cm, gives full-body coverage with room to spare. Most households use bath towels day to day and keep a bath sheet or two for guests or for wrapping straight out of the shower.
Do you offer trade pricing for guest houses and hotels?
Yes, call 01204 455755 for a quote — there's no minimum order, so small properties get the same per-unit rate as larger ones.
Are these towels colourfast?
Yes, though we'd always recommend washing dark and light shades separately for the first few washes.
Please note : images are for illustration purposes only. Whilst all care has been taken to display the accurate colour shade, factors such as monitor displays and new towel batches may have an impact on how the colour shade is displayed. If in doubt, please order a free face cloth sample.
