Ring spinning combs and twists the fibres tighter before weaving, producing a stronger, smoother yarn that holds up through commercial wash temperatures — open-end yarn is looser and starts shedding density faster under the same conditions, and a hand towel hits that wear pattern faster than anything else in the property.
