Every size in the range carries a different number of header bars woven into the border, so laundry staff can sort by sight rather than checking labels: one bar for hand towels, two for bath towels, three for bath sheets. That's the actual trade-off worth understanding on the weight itself: 400 GSM dries faster between uses than 500 GSM, which matters more in a high-turnover hotel or leisure centre than in a slower-turnover care home, without sacrificing the fibre strength that keeps a towel in service.
