Have used this in the hot weather, very large but if you thread belt through and gather at the back then roll sleeves up 2-3 times it is very useable and comfy. I purchased the silver grey colour. Think the style and cut is more for a man than a woman but you can work with it if not 20+ size.

Quite pleased. Found it to be generous in size (I'm size 16) sleeves a bit on the long side but I can alter them. Would use this company again. Delivery was as stated, refreshing in this day and age. Thankyou
Bought this in blue for hubby's birthday to use for a weekend away and kicked myself for not ordering one for myself at the time. Lovely long arms, great length and cosy whilst still lightweight. Fantastic valur. Will probs get another for the guest bedroom and pretend we're all posh, innit ?

I like this dressing gown but as it.comes in one size only if you're not the tallest around or have arms that reach to ones knees you're going to feel swamped ?

Very nice quality but as it's only one size the makers must think the average man is 7ft tall with arms down to their knees ? Be careful if you're short as I am it will swamp you
Light and comfortable for warm weather. Very long arms so had to make alterations, but this is no fault of the product as it is clearly included in the product description. Would recommend

A heavy towelling robe is the wrong call for summer mornings or a warm bedroom. This one is 100% cotton in a waffle weave at 300GSM, so it doesn't trap heat the way a standard terry robe does, and it's still an actual dressing gown rather than a thin dressing-up costume that happens to be waffle-textured.

Is 300GSM warm enough for anything other than summer?
Works fine indoors year-round with the heating on. It's built for anyone who runs warm or has a well-heated home, not strictly a summer product.
How generous is the one-size fit?
Closer to an XL. Chest width is 60cm laid flat and full length is 127cm. Sleeves are 65cm, about 10cm longer than our standard terry towelling robe, so if you're shorter, expect to turn the cuffs back. The 180cm belt lets you cinch the waist.

Does the waffle weave actually absorb moisture?
Yes. Cotton is cotton regardless of the weave — it just absorbs with less bulk than terry towelling, which is the whole point of this style rather than a purely decorative finish.
Is it colourfast, and how should I wash it?
Similar colours, skip the softener, tumble dry low or air dry.
